Hot & Spicy Nuts

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp each ground black pepper, cinnamon, ginger and red pepper
- 1 Jar (11 oz) or 2 1/2 cups mixed nuts
- 1/8 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 325 degree F. Keep a rimmed baking sheet ready.
Heat oil and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat until hot. Remove from heat, add spices and stir until well blended. Let stand 5 minutes for flavors to develop.
Place nuts in a medium bowl, add oil mixture and stir to coat nuts well. Spread evenly in baking sheet.
Bake, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes until nuts are toasted.
Let cool on wire rack. Sprinkle with salt and toss to coat. Store airtight.
