Ingredients
- 2 cups of beans soaked over night. Bring to a boil & simmer for the morning.
- Then add: 2/3 cup brown or white sugar
- very little molasses
- salt
- pepper
- 1/2 ½ tsp. ginger
- 1/2 ½ tsp. mustard
- ketchup
- slice of bacon or bacon fat
- onion

Stir all ingredients in pot & place in a slow oven (250-300F) for the afternoon. Or you can place all ingredients in a slow cooker for the afternoon.
