WILD RICE BREAD

Take a walk on the wild side of bread witha loaf that gets its nutty zip and chewy texture from widk rice. Pair it with smoked turkey or cheese for a sophisticated, satsifying sandwich.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. cooked wild rice, well drained and cooled
- 2 tblsp margarin or butter
- 2 2/3 c. bread flour
- 1 1/3 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp instant chicken bouillon granules
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried thyme, crushed
- 1 1/4 t active dry yeast or bread machine yeast.
Preparation
Step 1
Select the loaf size. Add the ingreadients to the machine according to the manufacturer's directions. If available, selct the whole grain cycle, or selct the basic white bread cycle.
