Ingredients

  • 4 sticks butter, softened
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 each eggs, room temp.
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups white flour
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 5 cups oatmeal, blend in blender
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 packages chocolate chip
  • 1 1/2 cups nuts, crushed

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together butter and sugars. Then beat in eggs. Next add vanill and set aside. In a separate bowl mix flours, oatmeal and the rest of the ingredients. Then mix with first mixtue. Can be frozen at this point to bake as needed. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Can be baked and then frozed to keep until needed.
