- Optional:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 4 beef round steaks, about 3/4 inch thick
- 1/2 teaspoon beef base mixed into 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mutard powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon brandy
- 1/3 cup havy cream
- 1 tablespoon chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- Salt
- Pepper to taste
- Try adding 1/2 of a diced red onion, or 2 to 3 diced shallots while browning the meat and 8 ounces of halved mushrooms with the remaining ingredients for something even better.
Preparation
Step 1
1. Add the butter and garlic to the pressure cooker and heat on high or "brown" with the ld off until sizzling.
2. Place steaks in pressure cooker and lightly brown on both sides.
3. Add the beef base mixed with water, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard and onion powder and securely lock on the pressure cooker's lid. Set the cooker to high and cook for 15 minutes.
4. Perform a quick release to release the cooker's pressure before safely removing lid and adding the remaining ingredients. Stir until well combined and serve with favorite potato dish.
