Ingredients
- 3 T. vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. sesame seeds
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 t. pepper
- 1 t. salt
- 6 T. vinegar
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 head cabbage, shredded or chopped
- 8 green onions, chopped
- 3 oz. Ramen chinese noodles, broken, discard flavor pkt.
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in skillet. Toast sesame seeds and almonds. Remove from heat. Add sugar, peppers, salt, vinegar and oil. Stir well; pour into a container. Cover and refrigerate. This part may be made one day ahead. Mix shredded cabbage and onion together. Shake dressing and pour over coleslaw. Add noodles just before serving. Toss well. Serve immediately.
