GARLIC****Pan con Tomate

Ingredients

  • 2 2 2 slices italian bread
  • 1 1 clove 1 large clove garlic, halved
  • 1 1 1 medium ripe tomato, halved
  • 1 1 1 tbsp. good EVOO
  • to salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

* Toast the bread and rub each piece with the cut clove of garlic, then with the tomato half, grinding the tomato into the bread. Drizzle with good extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with Maldon salt to taste.

* Alternately, grate the tomato into a bowl with a box grater and mix with the olive oil or garlic flavoured olive oil. Spread the tomato mixture on the toasted bread and sprinkle with salt.
