Ingredients
- 1 1/2 1 ½ lb. ground meat
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3/4 ¾ cup grated cheese
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 3/4 ¾ cup warm broth
- 1/2 ½ cup milk
- 2 tbs. oil
- 2 1/2 2 ½ cups bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cups cooked long grain rice
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil, add onion, cooking until tender, add meat and stir. Add salt, pepper, and garlic. Cook until cooked half way, and then add mushrooms. Cook until meat is done, don’t drain. Put meat mix into a bowl with rice, toss. Add crumbs, cheese, milk, egg, and salt. Mix well. Add broth and cook 1 hour. Top with 2 tbs. butter and cover.
