Creamy Chicken-Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. long-grain and wild rice mix
  • 3-4 c. chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 sm. onion, chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen French-style green beans, thawed
  • 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. pepper
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Swiss or Fontina cheese

Preparation

Step 1

COOK rice according to package directions. Combine rice and next 10 ingredients; spoon into a shallow 3 quart dish. Top with cheese.

BAKE at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbly around edges.
