Oven Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • Place the Following Ingredients in Paper Sack:
  • 1/4 C Crisco
  • 2-2 1/2 Lb. Frying Chicken (Quartered)
  • 1/2 C Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat Oven 425. Melt Crisco in Shallow Pan in Oven.

Wash & Dry Chicken. Place Quartered Chicken into Sack & Shake.

Arrange Floured Chicken Skin side Down in Single Layer.

Bake 45 Mins. turn Skin side up & Continue Baking about 15 Mins. until Tender. (Sharyn Cervay)
