Chocolate Peanut Bars

Ingredients

• 1 pkg white cake mix
• 1 cp peanut butter, divided
• 1 egg
• 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
• 1/3 cp milk
• 1/4 cp sugar
• 1 cp (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
• 3/4 cp salted peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl, beat the cake mix, 2/3 cp peanut butter and egg until crumbly. Press into a greased 13x 9 inch pan.

In another bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining peanut butter until smooth. Gradually beat in milk and sugar. Carefully spread over crust. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and peanuts.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and center is set. Allow to cool completely. Store in refrigerator.
