Ingredients
- 1 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. margarine, melted
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 lb. (3 1/2 c.) powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Grease a 9x13-inch pan. Spread coconut and nuts in pan. Prepare cake mix as directed. Spread over coconut and nuts. Mix together margarine, cream cheese and powdered sugar. Spoon over cake batter, mix lightly. Do not disturb nuts and coconut. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350° Serve with nuts and coconut on top.
