Graham Crackers

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 6 cups whole wheat flour (approx.)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together milk, water and lemon juice. In separate bowl beat sugar, honey, oil, vanilla and eggs well. Comine with dry ingredients. Divide into 4 equal parts. Place each on a greased and floured cookie sheet and roll to about 1/8" thickness. Prick with fork. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until light brown. Remove from oven and cut into squares immediately.
