Heavenly Peach Kuchen

Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 2 T sugar
- 1/4 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 c butter
- 2 cans sliced peaches, drained
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2 t cinnamon
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 c heavy cream or half and half

Preparation
Step 1
Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. With a pastry blender cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Press the mixture over the bottom and up the sides of a 10" round pan. Place the peaches, cut side up, over the pastry. Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over peach halves. Bake at 400 for 15 min. Mix the egg yolks and cream and pour over peaches. Continue to bake 30 min. or until brown. Serve warm or cool with whipped cream.
