Ingredients
- 1 unbaked double crust pie shell
- 6-8 large apples (cortland or granny smith are best)
- 3/4 c sugar
- 2 heaping tbsp. flour
- 1-2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. butter

Preparation
Step 1
Mix apples and dry ingredients together in large bowl. Pour into pie shell and dot with butter. Add top crust and fluke edges. Fork top for air vents.
Bake 425 for 15 minutes and **then reduce heat to 350 for 30 minutes**
