Ingredients
- 6 boneless chicken breast halves
- Italian dressing mix (.06 oz)
- 3 T olive oil
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3 T chopped parsley (1 T flakes)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
- 8 oz crescent rolls
- 4 oz crescent rolls
- 1 T butter
- sesame seeds
- 1 lb mushrooms
- 1 T cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
Sprinkle chicken w/dressing. Saute in oil 5 minutes, add wine and simmer covered for 20 minutes. Save liquid.
Combine Cheese, parsley, butter, garlic and lemon pepper. Mold into 6 balls. Separate dough into 6 squares. Roll out to accommodate chicken. Place chicken on dough, place cheese misture on chicken and flatten. Wrap in bread. Melt 1 T butter and brush on top of dough. Sprinkle w/sesame seeds and bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes.
Add mushrooms to liquid. Cook until tender. Mix cornstarch and water and add to mushrooms to thicken.
Serve over wild rice.
