Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 cup Karo
- 2 cups raw peanuts
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
Bring water to a boil. Add the sugar and Karo, stir until dissolved and boil until it reaches 230°F with a candy thermometer.
Add the peanuts and cook slowly over a low heat until it turns golden brown.
Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla, and soda, stir quickly and spead on buttered pan. Place in a cold area.
Break into bite sized pieces after hard.
