Guilt Free Oven Swiss Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless beef round steak (1/2 in. thick)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 medium onion, thinly slice
  • 1 can (4 oz.) mushroom stems andpieces, drained
  • 1 can (8oz.) no-salt-added tomato sauce
  • Hot cooked noodles

Preparation

Step 1

1. Trim beef; cut into serving-size pieces. Place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 in. baking dish. Sprinkle with pepper. Topo with the onion, mushrooms and tomato sauce.

2. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 3/4 to 2 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over noodles.
