Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c nonfat dry milk
- 1/4 c chopped chives (optional)
- 2 T sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 c butter
- 1 c plus 1 T water

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven 400 – lightly grease baking sheet
2. Combine dry ingredients into bowl; cut butter into mixture to make coarse crumbs. Stir in water just until moistened
3. Knead dough 10 times. Pat into 8x6 inch rectangle. Cut into 12 biscuits and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
4. Bake for 12 to 16 min. or until golden brown
