  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 2 pkgs cream cheese
  • 4 cups coolwhip
  • 2 cups cofectioners sugar
  • 1 large box instant chocolate pudding (or 2 small)



Step 1

in large bowl melt butter and add flour until thick.(should be around 2 cups) mix in pecans. line a 9x13 glass pan with foil and lightly grease. press mixture into prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown (about 20 mins) Transfer pan to wire rack and allow to cool.

Next prepare the pudding (3rd layer) and allow to set

mix coolwhip, cream cheese, and confectioners sugar and spread onto cooled crust.

then spread the prepared pudding onto the 2nd layer.

top with cool whip and sprinkle with nuts. Lift out of pan and cut into squares
