Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups lukewarm water
  • 3 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 3 1/4 cups white flour
  • 2 teaspoons yeast (traditional or bread machine)

Preparation

Step 1

Measure ingredients in the order listed into the baking pan.

Select RAPID setting and 1.5 lb. loaf setting. Choose LIGHT or DARK crust setting. Push START button.

Bake for 2 hours.

I usually use 3 cups white flour and 1/4 cup whole wheat flour.
