By

My Grandma Hermsen use to make these when we were little and I alway remember walking in her home and she would hand us a cookie.

These were also a cookie my mother made and we decorated them for Christmas. Make really good cut out cookies.

Preparation

Step 1

Add remaining ingredeints to the creamed mixture..add enough flour to make still (remember when rolling you are also adding more flour)

Roll out and cut with cookie cutter...Sprinkle with sugar and bake.350 till light golden brown or soft tan if you want softer cookies.

Try to keep this dough as soft as possible in the beginning as you add more flour to the board dough gets stiffer. Less flour softer the cookies.
