    lbs. catfish fillets

  • 1

    cup cornmeal

  • 1

    tsp. paprika

  • 1/4

    tsp. dry mustard

  • 1/2

    tsp. onion powder

  • 1/2

    tsp. celery salt

  • 1

    Tbsp. lemon zest

  • slat and pepper to taste

  • 1/2

    cup milk

Directions

In a mixing bowl combine cornmeal, paprika, dry mustard, onion powder, celery salt, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Dredge the catfish in the milk, then the cornmeal mixture. In a large frying pan, heat with oil. Place catfish in the pan. Cook fish until browned on both side. You can garnish the fish with thinly cut lemon slices.
