Ingredients

  • 1 6oz pkg long grain wild rice mix
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • 4 cornish hens, thawed & cleaned & giblets removed
  • 1/2 C chopped onion
  • 1/2 C chopped celery
  • 1 T melted butter
  • 1/4 Lb fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 1 t poultry seasoning

Preparation

Step 1

Cook rice per directions, add bouillon & seasoning envelope. Saute onion, celery & mushrooms in butter. Combine rice, vegetables, poultry seasonings. Stuff hens - close cavities w/toothpick. Combine: 2 t soy sauce, 1 t paprika, 1/4 t garlic salt, dash pepper & parsley. Brush hens with sauce & baste every 15 minutes. Bake 325 1 1/4-1 1/2 hrs.
