STUFFED SHELLS

  • 1 lb ricotta cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 C parmesan cheese
  • 1 T parsley flakes (fresh or dried)
  • 1/4 C shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook shells in a large pot of boiling water according to the instructions on the box. The more water, the better the shells will be. Remove from pot when al dente, cool in cold water. Mix ingredients (hold the mozzarella). Fill each shell with 1 T of this mixture. Place each shell to one side until all are filled.
Cover the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking dish with basic meat sauce. Place the shells in the dish. Cover with more sauce and sprinkle mozzarella on top. Cover with foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
