Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened (but not melted!)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine sugars, butter, peanut butter, and the egg in a stand mixer and beat until combined.
2. Add in the flour, baking soda, and baking powder and stir until the whole mixture is combined.
3. Refrigerate, covered for at least an hour.
4. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in a 375 oven for 8-10 minutes. If you want to be fancy, you can shape the uncooked dough into 1" round balls and make the traditional criss cross shape with a fork before baking.
Makes 1 dozen.
