Vanilla Frozen Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups 1% milk
  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups plain low-fat yogurt

Preparation

Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine milk and gelatin. Let it stand for 1 minute so gelatin can soften. Stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in sugar and vanilla and cook until sugar is dissolved. Let it cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate until completely cold. Stir in yogurt. Transfer to an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufactures directions.
