Ingredients

  • Walnut Mixture:
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon, ground
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Mix together and set aside.

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Beat until well blended.

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to cream mixture, beating after each addition.

Pour half the batter in a greased, floured bundt pan. Sprinkle with the walnut mixture then pour the other half of the batter on top and add remaining walnut mixture on top.

Bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted.

(Great recipe to convert to gluten free by using 2 cups of gluten free flour mix)
