chocolate Chip cookies

Ingredients
- YUMMY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
- Makes about 5 dozen
- 3/4 ¾ cup butter, softened (or equivalent butter flavored Crisco)
- 3/4 ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 2 ¼ cup plus 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 ¾ tsp salt
- 1 – 12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate morsels (Nestle)
- 1-2 cups Oatmeal (optional)
- 1 bag toffee chips (optional)
- BEAT – butter and sugars @ medium speed with an electric mixture until creamy, add eggs and vanilla beating until blended
- COMBINE – Flour, soda, salt in small bowl; gradually add to butter mixture, beating well-stir morsels…(this is when I would add the oatmeal)
- Drop by tablespoons onto baking sheets.
- BAKE - @ 350 degrees for 8-14 minutes or until desired degree of doneness. Remove to wire racks to co
