Teriyaki Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef tenderloin
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water

Preparation

Step 1

Marinade:
Combine sherry, soy sauce, dry onion soup mix and brown sugar. Place beef in a plastic bag. Set in a deep bowl. Add marinade and close bag. Chill for 8 to 24 hours. Occasionally press bag against meat to distribute marinade.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade. Place the meat on the rack of a roasting pan. Bake for 50 minutes. Baste occasionally with half the marinade. Bring the rest of the marinade and the water to boiling.

Slice the meat and spoon sauce over it.
