Hoisin glazed chicken halves

Ingredients

  • 2 -3 lb Chickens
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup corn oil
  • 4 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. fresh ginger grated

Preparation

Step 1

Place skin side down on a greased baking pan. In a small bowl, combine hoisin sauce, oil, lemon juice, soy sauce and ginger; mix well. Brush chickens with some hoisin mixture. Broil for 15 min or roast in 400 oven for 20 min. Brush with more sauce, turn chickens over and brush again with sauce. Roast for 20 - 30 min longer or until chickens are tender, brushing occasionally with sauce.
