Cinnamon Roll Quick Bread

Wow..this bread is fabulous and it was so very easy to throw together. I kid you not...these pictures were taken and my family devoured this loaf in about 20 minutes. All the delicious treats of a cinnamon roll all tucked into a lovely loaf of bread.
It's going into regular rotation for our breakfast/snacking/dessert menu.

Ingredients
- for bread:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 TBSP baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- for cinnamon swirl
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 TBSP water
- for icing:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 TBSP milk
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degree. Grease a 9in loaf pan.
In mixing bowl. whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine sugar, egg, milk and yogurt. Mix well. Slowly add in flour mixture and mix until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
In a small bowl, mix ingredients for cinnamon swirl. Spoon by tablespoon randomly into the batter. Swirl with a butter knife to create a marble pattern.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Let cake cool for about 15 minutes before adding icing.
Mix ingredients for icing in a bowl. Drizzle over semi-cooled bread.
