Ingredients
- for blueberry:
- 6 qts berries
- 6 c sugar
- 2 1/2 c clear gel
- 7 c water
- 1/2 c lemon juice
- 20 drops blue and 7 red of food coloring
- for apple:
- 7 drops yellow
- 1 t cinnamon
- for cherry:
- 1/4 t red food coloring
- 1 t cinnamon
- 2 t almond extract
Preparation
Step 1
Warm fruit. In a seperate kettle, combine sugar, cleargel; stir; add water and color. Cook ovr medium heat till thick and bubbly. Add lemon and boil 1 min., stirring constantly. Fold in drained fruit and immediately fill prepared jars leaving 1 in. headspace. Adjust lids and process.
Low alt. 30 minutes, hot water bath.
