Guacamole Mayo - Recipes at Penzeys Spices

This is the best on burgers or turkey sandwiches. It also stays green for a lot longer than regular guacamole!

Ingredients

  • 1/3 Cup mayonnaise (light works fine)
  • 1 large avocado, peeled, pitted and cut in chunks
  • 1 TB. freshly-squeezed lime juice (juice of 1/2 lime)
  • 1 clove garlic (or 1/4 tsp. PENZEYS MINCED GARLIC)
  • 1/4 Cup chopped fresh cilantro, use more or less or none to taste
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp. salt, to taste
  • 1/4 -1/2 tsp. GROUND CUMIN, to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Pulse or puree to your desired consistency. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
