Beef and Kale

  • 1 12 oz steak (in cut of your choice), cut into cubes
  • 3-4 shallots, minced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Sherry cooking wine (optional)
  • 3 T. worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

In a large pan, saute onions and garlic in olive oil for about 1 minute over medium high heat. Add meat, salt and pepper and cook until meat browns. Then add Sherry and worcestershire sauce. Reduce heat to medium, add kale and cover. Let cook for about 2 more minutes.
