Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 16 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 1/2 C. salsa
  • 1 C. taco sauce
  • 1 C. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 C. shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 3 green onions
  • sour cream
  • black olives

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Cook beef and drain. Add taco seasoning and prepare according to package. Add cream cheese. COver and simmer until cream cheese is melted. Stir together and set aside and cool completely. Cook shells. Pour salsa on bottom of 9x13 pan, Stuff each shell with 1-2 Tbs, of ground beef mixture. Set shells in pan, open side up. Evenly cover shells with taco sauce. Cover with foil and bake for 30 mins. Remove foil and sprinkle with shredded cheeses. Bake another 10-15 mins or until cheese is melted. Garnish with sour cream, green onions, black olives, or more salsa if desired.
