  • 1 C flour
  • 1 C quick cooking rolled oats
  • 3/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 t soda
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 3/4 C melted butter
  • 1 C (6oz) package chocolate chips
  • 3/4 C caramel ice cream topping
  • 3 T flour

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl combine flour, oats, brown sugar, soda, salt and butter. Blend well with mixer to form crumbs. Press half of crumbs into bottom of greased 9" square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Blend caramel topping and 3 T flour, spread over chocolate. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake 15-20 minutes longer.
