SESAME LIME BABY BOK CHOY

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) grated lime peel
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) liquid honey
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5 mL) red pepper flakes
  • 6 baby bok choy, halved length¬wise

Preparation

Step 1

To prepare marinade, combine all ingredients except bok choy in a bowl. Add bok choy and toss to coat. Let stand for 15 minutes. Remove bok choy from marinade; reserve marinade to serve with bok chop.

Grill bok choy over high heat on natural gas barbecue until wilted and grill-marked, about 1 to 2 minutes per side. Serve drizzled with reserved marinade.
