Ingredients
- 4 Pork Chops (your preference
- of boneless or bone-in)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon shortening or
- vegetable oil
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of
- mushroom soup (cream of chicken
- or celery work well too)
- 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1/3 cup water

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Heat shortening or oil in 10 inch skillet; brown chops quickly in hot shortening (do not overcook or they will be dry). Mix soup, milk and water in bowl, using wire wisk to remove lumps. Grease a 2 qt. baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or additional shortening; place browned chops in baking dish. Pour soup mixture over and around chops. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until chops are tender. Note: Thin chops will take less time to cook.
