Thai-Style Rice

Cook up the great taste of Thai restaurant rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain Jasmine rice
  • 2 cups canned coconut milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • - Ribbons of fresh basil leaves or cilantro leaves, for garnish (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Add all ingredients to the inner pot, except basil or cilantro. Close the lid, press the White Rice button and cook until the rice cooker switches to Keep-Warm mode, about 20 minutes. Allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.

Goes well with spicy foods.
