CHILI

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 qt. tomato juice
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning (Peg likes Ortega)
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin
  • 1 can (30 1/2 oz.) Brook’s Chili Hot Beans

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef; drain. Stir in onions and garlic; cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients except beans. Simmer, covered, 35 minutes. Add beans and cook, uncovered, 5 minutes.
Serve with grated cheese and oyster crackers.
