Sour Cream and Raisin Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups raisins

Preparation

Step 1

Wash raisins in hot water, add a little water and cook for 10 minutes. Drain and cool. Mix brown sugar, butter, baking soda, and flour. Pour 1/2 mixture into 9x13 pan. Bake for 7 minutes at 350. In saucepan, mix egg yolks, sour cream, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook and stir constantly. Add vanilla and raisins. Pour over cooked crust and pour rest of mixture on top. Bake 30 minutes at 350.
