  • 2 c uncooked wild rice
  • 1/2 c slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c chopped onions
  • 1/2 c chopped celery
  • 8-12 oz can mushrooms, drained.
  • 2 c cut up chicken
  • 6 c. chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 t. parsley

Step 1

1) combine all ingredients in cooker; mix well

2) cover; cook low 4-6 hours or til rice is finished. do not remove lid prior to 4 hour mark
