PORK CHOPS & SAUERKRAUT

Ingredients

  • 2 tart apples, cut in 1/2 inch slices
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
  • Little pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Place apples in bottom of 3 quart casserole.

Top with layer of onions and sauerkraut. Sprinkle with sugar.

Brown pork chops on both sides. Place chops on kraut.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover and bake 15 minutes more.
