Asparagus and Cheery Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. asparagus
  • Water
  • Salt
  • 1/2 ½ pint cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbs. olive oil
  • 1 clove sliced garlic

Preparation

Step 1

To prepare asparagus, hold the base of stalk and break off end. In a skillet over medium heat fill with water, when the water boils, add the asparagus and salt until boiling. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes. Cut each tomato in half. In hot oil cook the garlic until hot and golden, discard the garlic. Add the asparagus and tomatoes and heat through.
