Ingredients

  • 1 C Instant Grits
  • 4 C Water
  • 1 t Salt
  • 2 T Butter
  • 2 C Grated Cheddar
  • 1 C 2 Eggs + Milk to equal 1 C
  • 6 T Melted Butter
  • 1/2 ½ t Salt, Dash of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Add grits to boiling water with salt and 2 T butter. Cook until thickened.

2. Add cheese and stir until melted. Add milk, egg, melted butter and seasonings. Mix well.

3. Pour into buttered square baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika.

4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
