Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp almond

Preparation

Step 1

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with sour cream. Add flavorings. Bake at 300 for 1 hour 20 minutes in an angle food cake pan. You may add food coloring to color the cake (red or green for Christmas)
