POLYNESIAN HAM

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked ham cubed
  • 1 can of diced pineapple
  • ½ cup of water
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • ¼ cup of vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of dry mustard
  • black pepper
  • 1 piece of ginger finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon of veloutine

Preparation

Step 1


1. Drain pineapple and pour juice in casserole, into which you add water, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard and pepper.
2. Add ginger and bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Thicken with veloutine.
4. Add ham and warm up.

Serve over rice or green pasta.
