Roast Pork With Orange Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 boneless pork roast, 2 or 3 pounds, fat trimmed
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 oranges, washed and sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Into a crock pot place trimmed pork roast.

Salt and pepper roast on all sides.

Slice 4 oranges and place over top of roast.

Cook on low for 7 hours.

Remove roast onto a serving platter.

Discard orange slices.

Place drippings in a sauce pan. De fat if necessary. Thicken with 1 T. cornstarch dissolved in a cup of cold water. Add to drippings and place in a pan. Bring to a boil, whisking to prevent lumps. Taste and adjust seasonings.

Slice roast and arrange, serving sauce on the side.
