Stuart's Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 devil's food cake mix & ingredients to make cake
  • 1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding & milk to make pudding
  • 1/2 pkg. Oreos, crushed
  • 1/2 jar hot fudge, melted
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 4 maraschino cherries, cut in half

Preparation

Step 1

Make cake in 9x13-inch pan according to the directions on the box and cool. Cut 1/2 of cake into 1-inch square. Reserve other 1/2 cake for another use. Make chocolate pudding and pour over cake squares. Crush 1/2 package of Oreos and layer on top of pudding. Pour 1/2 to 1 jar melted hot fudge over. When cool, spread Cool Whip over; top with pecans and cherries.
